Non classé Je tiens personnellement à remercier Antonin, un lecteur du monde.Fr et plus précisément du blog le monde : “Bonne nouvelle” de Mathilde Serrell (reporter d’utopies et animateur sur radio Nova) et de Antoine Blin (collaborateur de monde.fr, à Nova, France Bleu, France Inter) qui a répondu à mon commentaire laissé suite à la lecture un article sur le 4L trophy 2009. Antonin est le premier à nous encourager spontanément de la sorte pour notre projet…

(J’avais le projet il y a 4ans de participer au 4L Trophy mais

suffisamment de sponsors).

The Mongol Rally, although a relatively young event, has a prety bit media coverage thanks to the growing interest of the people for this unique style rally..
The departures and arrivals of the Mongol Rally are systematically subjected to a “big meeting” where the medias are present and the crews are filmed and interviewed before departure.
Throughout the rally, crews give news of their adventures via their website. Partners can use this information to make emailing operations for instance or to republish the information on a specific page of their website.
Finally, in order to create communities and some buzz around this adventure we will create a “Facebook”, a “Flikr”, a YouTube account, a page “Myspace” and a “Where are you now” which will relay visibility of our adventure and logos of our partners. The aim will be to increase the visibility of the project to young internet communities…

Non classé An Humanitarian Adventure
The success of the Mongol Rally is based largely on the enthusiasm of the crews to commit to humanitarian action of a large scale.
Each crew must choose an association from a list of a dozen associations that are partners of the rally.
After consultation, we chose to retain two associations:
- Mercy Corps is a Mongolian association that helps rural communauties of Mongolia to become autonomous, particularly through economic development.
We will donate our car when we will arrive with the stock of spare parts in order to help in its daily operations.
- The Christina Noble Foundation, which provides human and logistical support to the disadvantaged children of Mongolia.
We will deliver the sum of 1000 pounds because we want to help in priority children to attend school.

Our vehicle :
Pour partir en Mongolie, nous avions d’abord pensé à acquérir une panda 4×4 des années 80 puis une citroen 2cv mais notre choix s’est finalement porté pour un Citroen C15
Nous avons choisi le citroen C15 car c’est l’évolution de la 2Cv qui est réputé mondialement pour sa solidité, légèreté et robustesse.
Le C15 construit sur la même idée à remporté un grand succès dans les campagnes et est extrêmement apprécié dans les milieux agricoles.
Ce véhicule qui fut produit jusqu’en 2005 est la voiture la plus adaptée pour faire de la piste car elle est légère, haute, robuste et simple. De plus cette voiture a été produite pendant plus de 20 ans, ce qui rend les pièces détachées faciles à trouver et peu couteuses.
Enfin son petit moteur de 1100cc est refroidi par eau, est très fiable quelque soit les conditions et peu consommateur en carburant et donc peu émetteur de CO2 (150g/km de C02)
Afin de mettre toutes les chances de notre coté la voiture subira une phase de renfort de son châssis. L’opération sera effectuée au Club de 2cv de Sucy en Brie (Val de Marne) qui prépare des 2cv pour faire des raids. Ils nous aideront à préparer notre véhicule pour avaler les milliers de kilomètres grâce à leurs 40 années d’existence.
Par ailleurs, le choix d’un modèle utilitaire rallongé n’est pas anodin puisque cela nous permettra d’emporter plus de pièces de rechange en cas de casse mécanique.
Enfin le moteur sera entièrement refait pour le raid de manière à partir avec voiture la plus saine possible

To complete this project on a trustfull way with our partners, we have established an association governed by the law of 1901 to ensure a legal framework for our participation in the event Mongol Rally.
In addition, the association can manage a bank account and allows partners to deduct 66% of the total investments under section 20 of general french tax code.
Furthermore, The name of the association is an incitation to exchange among peoples.
It includes four members :
